How Do I Set Up Geo Zones?

Setting up geo zones is easy! Just navigate to the geo zones page (System -> Localization -> Geo Zones) and click "Add" in the top right corner. Create a name and description for the zone you are setting up, such as Geo Zone Name: Domestic Description: Orders shipping within the United States. Then click the Add Geo Zone button and select the country and region you wish to add to this Geo Zone (in our Domestic example, I would select "United States" and "All Zones").

When setting up your shipping and/or payment options, you can then customize them with your geo zones. For example, if you only want to offer flat rate shipping domestically, or you only take in state checks, just select the appropriate geo zone when configuring your options for these methods.

How to Change the Content of the Body and Sidebar for Your Facebook Shop

Customizing the body and sidebar of your Facebook shop is easy! From your MiiDuu Dashboard go to Facebook Shop -> Customization and scroll down to where it says Layout. From there just check what you want displayed in your Sidebar and Body, and then assign each one a number 1-3 to determine which order they are displayed in. That's it! Don't forget to click "Save" before leaving the page!

How to Add a Page to Your MiiDuu Store

From your Dashboard, navigate to Design -> Pages. In the top right corner, click the Add button. From there you can fill out the title of the page and enter any content you'd like. Once you have saved the page, you will need to add it to a Navigation bar so that customers can find it. To do this, navigate to Design -> Navigation. Chose if you would like your page to appear in the top or bottom navigation bar, then click the appropriate Add button. You will then enter the name of the page as you'd like it to appear in the navigation bar. Then from the "Link to" dropdown menu select "Page". At this point, a second dropdown menu will appear. Select your new page and click add.

How Do I Change My Password?

To change the password for yourself or one of your store's other administrators, go to to System -> Users. You will then see a list of all of the users for your store. Select the one you would like to change the password for and click "Edit". If you have not already done so, you will need to enter the user's first and last name. After that, just enter in the new password you would like to use and confirm it in the box below. Click save and you're done!

How Do I Close My Store?

Closing your store is simple. Simply click the "Account" tab in the top right corner, and then click the "Please Cancel My Account" link in the "Close Store" box. If you have a free store, this is all you have to do. If you have a paid store, you will then need to go into PayPal and cancel your subscription. Please note: for security reasons, we do not cancel accounts via e-mail.

How Do I Import Products?

Importing products is simple with a CSV file! Just follow these easy steps and upload all your products in one go.

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products and click "Import"

2. If you would like to upload images with your products, you will first want to upload all of the images into your image directory. You will see a link on the import product page that says "Click here to batch upload images". Click on that link and you will be taken to your Image Manager. Click batch upload and then select the images you would like to upload.

3. You will also see a link to download a Sample CSV file. The easiest thing to do is download this file and then replace the sample information with your information. The top row tells you what information should be entered in the column below and if it is required or not (for example Product Name (Required), Attributes (Optional), etc). In the following rows you will see a few examples of how the information should be entered. Just replace these examples with your actual product information (in the same format) and save your updated document.

4. Upload your updated CSV file!

Helpful Hints:

You should upload product images, set up categories, attributes(if you have), and variations(if you have), tax(if you have) beforehand. Click here to see how to setup attributes and variations.

When importing product images you will need to include the full path (except for the main Images folder). For example, if you have an image named tshirt1.jpg and it's in a folder called tops you will need to enter the image as tops/tshirt1.jpg, so it is a good idea to take note of the folders your images are in while in the image manager to make things easier as you enter your product information for uploading.

Anything that isn't marked as Required can be left blank, if desired. If you leave a field blank, your product will automatically use the default for that field.

You can use HTML tags when entering your product description.

When entering attributes, you will enter them as attribute=value. For example, if one of your attributes is labeled "material" and one of values for that attribute is "cotton" you would enter this as "material=cotton". Use the "|" (Shift + \) key as a separator between attributes.

When entering variations, remember that you will need to fill out the details for every variation available. For example, if you have two sizes (small and large) and two colors (white and black), you will need to fill out the information for 4 products (small white, small black, large white, large black). This is done in the following format: color=black&size=small&mprice=59.95&mquantity=45 with the "|" separator between each variation.

When importing large quantity of products , we highly recommend you to import few of them at first, check the result and make sure the products imported successfully. Then, go on.

Miiduu Own Domain Site Email How To

For those who use their own domain with their MiiDuu store and would like corresponding e-mail accounts, such as sales@mydomain.com , Google Apps is a great free service.

How to add verification code

Once you submit your store to search engine(such as google webmaster) or some other well-known sites, usually a verification process is needed. In that case, we recommend you to use "META TAG" to reach this goal.

There are 2 different ways to edit your store's meta tag:

1. Go to miiduu app store, install the meta tag app, then go to menu: app store->installed app to configure this app to add related meta tag.

2. Go to menu: Design->Template Edit to add related verification code to your header template.

Customer Upload Files for Product Customization How To

When your customer place the order, do you want them to upload files (pictures, photos, doc, etc) for customization. It's quite easy to reach this goal in Miiduu, here are the steps:

Step 1) To activate this feature, please go to system->settings->option→Allow Customer to Upload Files, then choose yes.

Step 2) Once you choose yes, the popup window will allow you to do some init settings.

Step 3) When create products, click tab: Customer Upload and select yes.

Step 4) Once your customers choose the product that needs customization, they can now upload the file in order confirmation page.

Step 5) Last, go to sales->orders->order details to check and download the uploaded file.

Notes:

1. Use zip format If you want your customer to upload multiple files.

2. The customer uploaded files are located under buyer_upload folder in your image folder, and the filename equals this order id.

How to verify your site on Google Webmaster

Step 1) Login to Google Webmaster with your Google account.

Step 2) Click "add a site to get start" to fill in your own domain.

Step 3) Go to "alternate methods" , choose "add a meta tag to your site's home page" and Google will give you a meta name and content.

Step 4) Now it's time to add meta tag to your miiduu store. There are two ways to reach this goal:

Step 4a) Visit Miiduu App Store to install the app "custom meta tag".

Then configure this app through miiduu admin menu: App Store → Installed App. Fill in the meta name and content you got from Google. See screenshot below.

Step 4b) Alternatively, go to menu: Design → Template & CSS Edit to add meta tag into your template file (<template_name>/common/header.tpl)

Step 5) Finally, go back to your Google Webmaster account and click "verify" to finish the process!
